The small town Imi ouaddar starts to become increasingly popular among both residents and tourists from Agadir and surroundings such as tourists from outside Morocco. In recent years, more houses built and the largest 4 star camping site in Morocco, Atlantica Parc has discovered this pretty place and is housed here. The home is located in a complex located on the river Imi ouaddar. The river is mainly in spring and autumn filled with water directly from the mountains and flows into the sea. In the summer you will not find enough water in the river because of drought. The river is filled with all kinds vegetation and especially the famous Argan tree and you will find here much wildlife, including foxes, snakes, turtles, wild boars and scorpions. Also you will find a lot of domesticated dromedaries and camels take, accompanied by their shepherds. In the river you can easily Hike, mounting bike and Hicks. |

Close to the beach, a camping site that belongs to Atlantica parc has a restaurant where you can enjoy lunch or dinner or just order a cup of coffee and enjoy the horizon look of the sea. The beach is long and Imi ouaddar extends to the next small coastal town Aghroud. On the beach a fish market is located. This market buys the fish by the fishermen caught fish and distributes to stores and markets in the larger cities near Imi ouaddar. You can await the fishermen early in the morning on the beach and buy directly at the boat fresh fish. Negotiating the price is accepted, although one of the faces of the fishermen can see the hard work and then the haggling of a few dirhams is not easy. The fish can be cleaned by fishermen in exchange for a few Dirhams. Enjoying the freshest fish is the best and the healthiest way of eating in Imi ouaddar. |

On the left side of the beach is a large rock formation where you can see very clearly the different layers of minerals. This rock formation rises a freshwater source. The water probably comes from the mountains upstream. You'll often see people with empty bottles running that way. They fill the bottles there with delicious fresh mineral water.
